Lake Eaton State Campground is located in the Hamlet of Long Lake, NY and is run by the New York State Dept of

It is a primitive style campground located on a beautiful Adirondack lake in the High Peaks Region of the Adirondack
Mts. The sites on the water are very nice. I would recomend the mostly wooded sites in the far loop, sites #20 thru #50.
There are no hookups, but there are hot showers, and water available on posts throughout the campground. The fall
foliage is at its peak around the end of Sept and this is the time of year I recomend to camp here. This campground is a
long way from anywhere, but, for those that enjoy a more primitive style of camping in the middle of nowhere this is a
good choice
