We purchased the teardrop  in 2002 from Iowa . Had it flat bedded and that was a good choice. The owner
had said we could camp in it on the way home but figured 1100 miles there to get it, cost of gas and motel,
we would be best off paying the $400 to get her transported from the guy that does Military things for Steve
occasionally. So, it was a happy day that she arrived and those photos are on my 35mm camera which I
have not come across yet in my organizing my Scotty things. But, she was duct taped in spots to hold the
aluminum skin from parting company from the trailer. We found out about her from friends, John and
Michelle that were in our Military Club. So, in the pictures we are showing just how tiny she was from the
pictures. Notice the holes in the back in the aluminum. Steve wanted to replace the skin there and I said
''NO". When we did restore her, we just put a flat piece of aluminum flashing behind her and you hardly
notice it.

Now that I had 3 Scotty trailers I was so happy but, 2 of them were not campable and decided to let hte 1969
15' Gaucho be a storage unit and just sit on the property, camp in ''Scotty #1 Moonbeam, my parents 2st
Scotty in 1964" and with the help of our friends John and Michelle, totally restore the little Scotty teardrop. It
was beyond comprehension to us to do this and so glad of the help we had. Those pictures will follow next.
We bought this little Scotty ''Teeney" from Iowa with a lead from our friends John and Michelle and
purchased her just with email pictures. And we all know how that goes----------the pictures probably were
taken 5 years prior to posting, but what the heck, she needed restoring so that didn't matter as long as the
basic parts were there. We were told we could drive the 1100 miles there to get her and be fine for camping
in on the way home. Hummmm, glad we took our instinct and had her flat bedded here. And at that, she had
parts duct taped along the way. There is no way we could have driven and camped with her this distance
home. I was so excited the day our little baby arrived and had no concept exactly how small she was. We fell
in love and she is a member of the family, but since my mom is the only one who has slept in her and we
have her name and mine on the registration, that makes her not totally mine I guess. The restoration
process might be interesting to you James with what we found.

There will be complete pictures of this camper, posted
in the rebuilds section
